Many nomads are observed attacking the “normal” lifestyle to justify following theirs when that should never be the case. Everyone has a limited time to live so why would you want to waste your life living in a way that doesn’t make you happy? For some people, living in a big city, working a corporate job, and getting to buy things for themselves is their Zen. For others, the hustle of trying to reach somewhere is enough to bring them peace. For nomads, though, the world is their canvas just waiting to be painted – just so long as you respect everyone’s life choices.

Choosing the nomad lifestyle means you might not have a permanent somebody with you throughout your journey – except, of course, your partner decides to adopt the lifestyle, too. For the most part, to survive, you’ll have to communicate with all sorts of people from across the globe. Once you step out of your comfort zone in this manner, you’ll come to discover new things about yourself. And when you’re put into new and challenging situations, you’re bound to grow. Some nomads like to say that the road is your psychologist – and it’s true. All you need is yourself and the will to push open your boundaries.
Some places around the world are indeed safer than others. As a rule of thumb, just avoid places that aren’t safe. You don’t need a degree in the “nomad lifestyle” to know that Syria, Iraq, or any other war-prone areas are a no-go. That being said, nomads have found people to be very welcoming and accepting of different cultures and religions. There’s something about seeing tourists in their country that urges locals to help out. Your planet is so vast and beautiful that you can find enough peaceful places and people to keep you accompanied for a lifetime.

After all, what makes people generally feel most safe is their idea of “home.” Remember that home is wherever you are – and whatever place you deem homely.
